Reading

Five Minute Reading Challenge - "Dogs"

Students are read a descriptive paragraph by the instructor. Students are to listen to the reading, think about the details, and then draw a picture of what they heard. Activity increases students listening, comprehension, and visualization skills. 

Class Reading

Students selected a new book to read in class this week. Class read book aloud and discussed in class together.  

Bananagrams

Students play a game of Bananagrams to help build words and sentences!
