First week of class! Class runs Tuesday and Thursdays, between 4:30pm and 5:30pm.
Our first day in class covered introduction, expectations, structure, what books we will read, and how we will write.

What students should expect from instructor, and what instructor inspects from students
Class survey handout and Discussion
Students provide their thoughts on reading and writing. Discussion to follow.
Handwriting and sentence structure worksheets
To see how students forms letters, words, and sentences.

Reading
- Begin reading "Larry Gets Lost in New York" by John Skewes. Each student read a few sentences each turn, and listened to Miss Adrienne read aloud.
- Discussed material read aloud.
Writing
- Practice handwriting and letter formation; beginning with letter formation, then word formation, then sentence formation.
- Worked on capitalization, lowercase, and number formation worksheets.
- Wrote one sentence about the material we read today.
